New Visa Service Provider Promises “Simplified” Application Process for Algerians
Thanks to the digitalisation of administrative processes, Capago International can simplify the procedures for Algerians applying for Schengen visas. Optimising online procedures and processing visa applications faster and more seamlessly are some of the goals of the service provider.
The visa service provider also aims to ensure compliance with the rules and improve the services offered to Algerians while maintaining close collaboration with the Algerian authorities.
Capago International will cover online appointment booking, biometric data collection, and customised assistance throughout the application process.
Now, Algerian applicants will be able to book visa appointments on an online platform, enabling them to set an appointment in one of the centres – Algiers, Constantine, Oran, or Annaba.
Algerians Filed Nearly 280,000 Visa Applications to France in 2023
According to statistics published by EU Helpers, the number of visa applications Algerians filed to France in 2023 was 279,005. That represents more than half (58.8 per cent) of all applications filed by Algerians during this period.
France remains an indisputable destination for Algerian visa applicants, considering that every year, the country emerges as the top destination for this nationality group. The second most popular destination is Spai,n with 127,534 applications (26.9 per cent), followed by Italy (26,188 applications, 5.52 per cent of total applications.)
In general, Schengen states had a visa approval rate of 63 per cent, showing that almost two-thirds of applications are approved. France’s approval rates for Algerians stand at 66 per cent, placing France as the second country in the Schengen Area to approve visas for this nationality group.
Czechia holds the first position with an approval rate of 69.1 per cent, while Malta is placed the lowest, approving about 8.8 per cent of all visa applications the country received by Algerians in 2023.
