About the Opportunity
Take the next step in your agricultural or veterinary career with hands-on training on modern livestock farms in Denmark. As a trainee, you'll work closely with experienced farm professionals in specialized departments like farrowing, rearing, milking, and fattening.
This 12–18 month program focuses on developing practical skills in animal care, farm operations, and daily farm management — all while experiencing Danish culture and farming excellence firsthand.
What You’ll Be Doing
Animal Care
- Daily feeding and cleaning of pigs or cattle
- Monitoring animal health and behavior
- Assisting with medication and treatments
Farm Maintenance
- Keeping stables clean and hygienic
- Checking and maintaining equipment
- Supporting seasonal farming tasks
Specialized Support
- Helping in birthing, rearing, or milking (depending on farm type)
- Recording data on animal health, growth, and productivity
Team Collaboration
- Working under farm managers
- Learning alongside experienced local and international staff Adaptability
- Performing physical work in outdoor, rural, and seasonal environments

- Working Hours: 37 hours/week (paid overtime available)

Who Can Apply?
This traineeship is ideal for:
- Students or recent graduates in Animal Life Science, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary, or Agriculture
- Individuals aged 18–29 years
- Candidates with basic English communication skills (minimum B1 level, verified via interview or IELTS 3.0+/KET 120+)
- Those eager to gain international work experience in livestock farming

Eligibility
- Eligible: All nationalities are welcome
- Not Eligible: Unfortunately, applications from Pakistan, African countries, Somalia, Iraq, Iran, Cuba, Libya, and Syria are not accepted for this program
