Visa Fees
Applicants seeking a Schengen visa to Lithuania are required to pay the following fees:
- General Visa Fee: EUR 90
- Children (6 to 12 years): EUR 45
- Children under 6 years: Exempt from visa fees
Exemptions from Visa Fees
Visa fees are waived for the following categories of applicants:
- Children under six years of age
- Students and educators: School pupils, students, postgraduate students, and accompanying teachers traveling for study or educational training purposes
- Researchers: Individuals defined under Article 3, point (2) of Directive (EU) 2016/801, traveling for scientific research or to participate in a scientific seminar or conference
- Young representatives of non-profit organizations: Individuals aged 25 or younger participating in seminars, conferences, sports, cultural, or educational events organized by non-profit organizations
Currency and Refund Policy
The visa fee is payable in euros (EUR), the local currency of the applicant’s country, or the currency commonly used in that region. Visa fees are non-refundable, even if the application is denied.
Service Fees for External Providers
If applying through an external service provider, an additional service fee is charged. Lithuania has an agreement with VF Services (UK) Ltd., which applies the following service fees:
- EUR 17.90: When a Lithuanian visa authority is present in the applicant's country
- EUR 33.80: When no Lithuanian visa authority is available in the country
