By offering this new service, the European Sleeper noted that they aim to make cross-continental journeys more accessible as well as enjoyable for all travellers.
Moreover, it was stressed that taking into account the high demand for winter sports travel, the schedule of the new night train has been created to accommodate school holidays and the peak winter sports season.
As explained by the European Sleeper, the night train will operate around two times a week during the months of February and March, with the inaugural journey departing from Brussels on February 5, 2025.
This spectacular route from the North Sea to the Mediterranean is expected to be very popular among travellers. However, it is yet to be seen what the booking numbers will be.
This Is When the Train Departs From Brussels & Venice
Southbound, the new night train will depart from Brussels at 6:06 pm and will arrive at Venice at 3 pm the next day.
On the other hand, northbound, the train will leave Venice at 4:15 pm and will arrive in Brussels around 12:30 pm the following day.
This schedule will be followed only for February and March. As for the other months, a timetable with the needed information is expected to follow shortly.
As for the prices, they depend on how comfortable those who take the night train want to be. As I Am Expat Germany explains, for the service running between Brussels and Venice, travellers can expect a price of around €100 for an upright seat in a compartment of six and a price of around €120 for a couchette bed in a cabin for six people.
There is also the most expensive option of around €200 for a bed in a private cabin for two people.
