Switzerland
This Schengen Member State is most likely to grant you a Schengen visa, considering that it approved 3,415 visas to Moroccan applicants in 2023.
According to statistics published by SchengenVisaInfo, Switzerland approved 83.9 per cent of visa applications filed by Moroccans, which has the highest approval rate out of all countries.
In addition, Switzerland has the third highest rate for multiple entry visas granted to Moroccans – 82 per cent, falling behind Germany (85.19 per cent) and Austria (89.2 per cent).
Poland
The second country where Moroccans have higher chances of receiving a visa is Poland, with 83.1 per cent of visa applications in 2023 being approved.
However, this country is not that popular among Moroccan applicants, considering that only 693 visa applications were submitted to Polish authorities.
While approval rates for Moroccans were high, Poland has the lowest share of multiple entry visas granted to this nationality – 62 out of 576 approved applications, which represents a share of 10.76 per cent.
France
Unlike other countries on this list, France is the most popular country for Moroccan nationals to apply for a Schengen visa. Being the number one destination, 11.8 per cent of visa applications that France received in 2023 were filed by Moroccans.
The approval rate for Moroccan applicants to France is 81.3 per cent, which accounts for 251,950 visas granted. As per multiple-entry visas issued, France granted 134,153 per cent of them, which represent 52.25 per cent of all approved visas to Moroccans for the year.
Portugal
Portugal issued 1,902 visas to Moroccans, with an approval rate of 80.1 per cent, while it received 2,376 applications.
The country also had a high approval rate for multiple-entry visas granted (1,296), representing 68.14 per cent of the total approved visas.
On the other hand, Portugal rejected 474 visas, which shows that the rejection rate for Moroccans was nearly 20 per cent.
Czechia
Around 75.6 per cent of 664 visa applications received by Moroccans were approved by Czechia in 2023. The country rejected 162 visas and issued 40.24 multiple entry visas.
Czechia and Denmark received the lowest number of visa applications from Moroccans – only 664 and two, respectively. Denmark had the highest rejection rate for Moroccan applicants, rejecting 100 per cent of them.
